Shake Off the Dust

In Matthew 10:14, Jesus instructs His disciples as He sends them out: “And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.”
The instruction to “shake off the dust” is not a call to bitterness or retreat. It is a call to move forward without carrying the weight of rejection.
Not everyone will receive your message, and that is not your burden to bear. You speak, you share, and then you let go. The rejection is not of you, but of the One who sent you. Your job is not to convince every person; it is to be faithful to the commission.
Speak up for Jesus. Let your voice be one that declares truth with both wisdom and gentleness. And when the dust of rejection settles, just shake it off and keep walking.
