Lord, my former life had its pitfalls. Now I am different. There are lessons to be learned from how I lived back then. Thank you for opening my eyes. Thank you for making me a new creation in Christ. Help me to remember the lessons without reliving the shame, and to walk forward in the freedom and purpose you have given me. Amen.
