About Rivertree Christian Ministries

Rivertree Christian Ministries was founded in 2014 to serve God’s people who are in need of a little peace in the busy and complex cyber world.  At Rivertree, we strive to apply principles from the Bible as the basis for living in righteousness, wholeness, empowerment, critical reflection, and restoration.

The ministry began as a virtual chapel providing a quiet place to pray, reflect, and study. Our mission rests on a foundation of healing, renewal, and service as we seek to make disciples and support them along the journey.

 In doing so, we endeavor to promote social change and carry out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).

How the Rivertree Christian Ministries Got Started

The ministry began a virtual chapel consisting of a private website for family members. Our focus was to make sure our downline had a grounding in the Christian faith. We began to see evidence that the message was getting through to our children and grandchildren based on the things they said, the times they relied upon their faith, and the times they incorporated Christian principles into their daily decision making.

Before long, people outside of the immediate family started taking note of the Chapel. Over time the site evolved so that people now visit the website to read a daily reflection, read the daily prayers, study Bible readings, view relaxing videos, or learn about the foundations of the Christian faith.

Mission

The mission of Rivertree Christian Ministries is to glorify God and lift up the name of Jesus through sermons, prayer, discipleship, and education.

Vision

Our vision aims to maintain an online presence where God’s people can provide encouragement and hope, disseminate inspirational messages, and promote justice in the manner that Jesus taught his disciples.

Committed to Discipleship through Christian Education

Our commitment focuses on the teaching mission of Matthew 28:20. To that end, we provide Christian education resources free of charge, including Bible study guides and devotional materials.
