Righteousness in the Routine (Jeremiah 22:3-5)

Category : Blogpost

You don’t need a grand platform to make a difference. Faith is exercised in ordinary moments.

Jeremiah 22:3 commands active intervention: defend the robbed and foreigner in your own circles.

That’s the excluded coworker, the disrespected elder, the talked-over young person.

Your advocacy is daily: send meeting notes to the excluded colleague and credit them for their idea.

Check on that elder, ensure their concerns are heard.

Stop the conversation to ask the quietest person, “What do you think?”

Refuse to repeat harmful jokes. Rescue isn’t always dramatic. It’s the consistent, brave choice to disrupt small injustices with kindness and truth.
