What should I say?

What should I say?

Category : Blogpost

Few things stir up anxiety quite like the prospect of speaking in front of others. Whether it is a formal presentation, a small group discussion, or a simple opportunity to share your faith, the fear of getting the words wrong can be paralyzing. What if you stumble? What if you forget something important? What if you cannot answer the question someone throws at you?

If you are engaged in discipleship and sharing the gospel, Jesus has a direct word for that worry. In Matthew 10:18-20, He prepares His disciples for the moments when they will be called to stand before governors and kings for His sake: “But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.”

This is not a promise that preparation is unnecessary. It is a promise that when you are walking in obedience and the moment comes, the Holy Spirit will supply what is needed. The pressure is off your shoulders. Your eloquence, your training, and your memorized points are not the source of power. The Spirit is.

The key is surrender. When you submit yourself to the will of God, you are not standing alone. You are simply the vessel. The words are not yours to manufacture; they are His to provide. Your job is to be faithful, available, and willing. He will handle the rest.

So put your worries to rest. Step up, open your mouth, and trust the One who called you. The words will come. They always do. Please visit our YouTube Channel.
