The Practice of Kindness (Zechariah 7:9–10)

Category : Blogpost

In your rush to demand justice, don’t overlook the simple kindness God asks of you daily.

True justice isn’t abstract; it’s practical mercy shown to the vulnerable person right in front of you.

This week, look for service workers: cashiers, drivers, custodians. They often feel invisible. Show them kindness through eye contact, a sincere “thank you,” learning their name, patience, a generous tip. Refuse to treat their service as something owed to you.

In these small gestures, you administer God’s true justice, affirming dignity and pushing back against invisibility.

That is the practice of kindness.
