Share the Good News (Romans 10:13-15)

Category : Blogpost

Here is a sobering question: If the people in your life never heard the gospel from you, would they ever hear it at all? It is uncomfortable to consider, but worth sitting with for a moment.

Romans 10:13-15 lays out the chain of salvation clearly: “For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” But then Paul presses further: “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?”

The logic is inescapable. Salvation is available to all who call on the name of the Lord. But calling requires believing. Believing requires hearing. Hearing requires someone to speak. And speaking requires someone to go.

You are that someone. You have been appointed to carry the good news. The word of faith has been written on your heart and your mind. You know what you know: that Jesus Christ came to save sinners, that grace is real, that forgiveness is free, and that eternal life is offered to everyone who believes. The question is not whether you have the message. The question is whether you will deliver it.

We tend to overcomplicate evangelism. We think we need perfect arguments or polished presentations. But sharing the good news is often as simple as telling someone what God has done for you. Your testimony does not need to be a sermon. It just needs to be true.

Take a moment today to consider who in your life needs to hear the hope you carry. A coworker. A neighbor. A family member. Open your mouth and share the good news. Someone is waiting to hear it.
