Focus Scripture: 1 Corinthians 1:13 3 No testing has overtaken you that is not common to everyone. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing, he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it.
Patient God, we offer up a simple prayer today. Our sisters and brothers in Christ are undergoing all kinds of hardship. Some are experiencing economic challenges, social isolation, racism, hatred, inhumane treatment, rejection – the list goes on. Your Word tells us that tests and trials are common to everyone, even though we feel we are being persecuted and singled out sometimes. We stand on your Word today, O God. We believe that you are faithful and will not let us be tested beyond what we can bear. We pray that you will allow us to feel your Holy presence, speak life to our spirits, and give us what we need to endure the trials that come our way. We thank you for your grace, and in all things, we give you glory. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
