Daily Prayer

Daily Prayer Focus: Psalm 5: 7-8, NKJV

But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy; In fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple. Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; Make Your way straight before my face.

Loving God, thank you for prayers answered and hope renewed. Thank you for the multitude of your mercy. We lift up our prayers for others and for ourselves today. We pray especially for:

  • People in need of spiritual restoration
  • Those who need physical healing
  • Those whose thoughts are troubled
  • Prayer warriors and spiritual leaders
  • People who are persecuted because of their faith
  • Those who are addicted
  • People who are lonely
  • People mourning the loss of loved ones
  • People who are voiceless and living in the margins
  • Those who have been cast aside by society
  • People with chronic illness
  • Stewards of the environment
  • People who speak truth to power
  • Protection for our neighborhoods
  • Governments around the world
  • The disconsolate in Africa
  • The discouraged in Europe
  • The struggling in South America
  • The downtrodden in North America
  • Justice seekers and peacemakers

We know you to be our God of compassion. Have mercy on your people. Have mercy on your world.  We pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
