Daily Prayer Focus: Galatians 3:13-14, NLT
But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith.
Loving God, in the matchless name of Jesus, we come thanking you for all that you are doing in the lives of your people who love you. We thank you for the sacrifice you made so that we shall be redeemed. We lift up our brokenness for your healing touch today. Especially we pray for:
- Peace in our valleys
- Deliverance from strongholds
- Comfort for those who mourn
- Justice for oppressed people
- Rescue for those who are lost
- Contentment for troubled minds
- Healing for the sick
God, we ask that you provide for us, protect us, and give us patience on this journey. Have mercy on your people. Have mercy in your world. In the name of Jesus our Savior, we pray. Amen.
