Prayer for Help

Focus Scripture: Psalm 121:1-2  I lift up my eyes to the hills—from where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

Holy and Eternal God, we are so grateful that you sit high and look down upon us with compassion when we are in trouble. We have known you to be a friend, a deliverer and a way maker. You are a protector, provider, lifter up of our heads. We are grateful for all the ways you have blessed us this past week even though we are unworthy. But you are worthy, O God. You are worthy of honor and praise, and we bless you today! We lift up our brokenness to you today. Speak peace to our minds, bodies, and spirits. Walk with us, O God when we get weary, teach us how to lean on your everlasting arm. Please hear our prayers and answer. We love you and trust you and claim the victory right now in the name of Jesus! Amen.
