Living to Please God

Psalm 15:1 (CEB) Who can live in your tent, Lord? Who can dwell on your holy mountain?

Holy God, you are high and lifted up and sometimes living up to what we think you expect of us seems like an insurmountable task. But we thank you for your word that tells us we can have access to your holiness by living our lives in a way that is pleasing to you. Thank you for your word that reminds us to live lives that are free of blame. Our desire is to do what is right, to speak the truth, and to not hurt others with the words or actions. Help us. Forgive us, Lord, so that we can be close to you. We love you. We praise you. And in all things we give you the glory in the name of Jesus. Amen.
