Daily Prayer

Focus Scripture: Psalm 29:9 (NLT)  The voice of the Lord twists mighty oaks and strips the forests bare. In his Temple everyone shouts, “Glory!”

God of Glory, we praise you because you are worthy. Thank you for keeping our enemies at bay. We pray for others and for ourselves today. We pray especially for:

  • Grandparents and guardians.
  • People impacted by earthquakes and floods.
  • People who are victims of man-made disasters.
  • Mothers who have lost their children to senseless violence.
  • Christians persecuted because of their faith.
  • People who are looking for jobs this week.
  • Those who are homeless and hungry.
  • People with troubled minds.
  • People in stressful relationships.
  • Mentors, teachers, and role models.
  • People who are full of resentment.
  • Those with shattered dreams.

Ever-present God, please hear our prayers and answer. Have mercy on your people. Have mercy on your world. Amen
