Focus Scripture: Psalm 40:1-3 I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry .2 He drew me up from the desolate pit, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. 3 He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord.
Redeemer God, thank you for inclining to us and hearing our prayers. Thank you for not allowing us to be drawn into the horrible pit. Thank you for setting our feet on solid ground and giving us something to do as we wait for this pandemic to pass. Thank you for quieting our spirits when we are cast down. Thank you for being our refuge and our dwelling place. We don’t know what we would do without your love. We place our hope in you, and we praise your Holy Name. In all things, we give you the glory. We pray it in the name of Jesus. Amen.
