Daily Prayer

Focus Scripture – Psalm 93:4-5 The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, than the mighty waves of the sea. Your testimonies are very sure; holiness adorns Your house, O Lord, forever.

Mighty God, we seek you today with all of our heart. Please let us find you. We pray for others and ourselves today. We pray especially for:

  • People struggling to make ends meet.
  • Victims of the terrorist bombing in Manchester.
  • People who have been traumatized by the hostility in our world.
  • Those who are chronically ill.
  • People who can’t see their future from here.
  • People who have been hurt by broken promises.
  • Those who are overwhelmed.
  • Those who work for reconciliation.
  • People in hospitals, hospice, and nursing homes.
  • People who are overwhelmed by sadness.
  • Our neighborhoods and our households.
  • Refugees from all manner of strife.
  • Caregivers and first responders.
  • All churches open in your name

Listening God, please hear our prayers and answer. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
