Daily Prayer

Focus Scripture: Psalm 81:13-16 Oh, that my people would listen to me! Oh, that Israel would follow me, walking in my paths! How quickly I would then subdue their enemies! How soon my hands would be upon their foes! Those who hate the Lord would cringe before him; they would be doomed forever. But I would feed you with the finest wheat. I would satisfy you with wild honey from the rock.

God our Deliverer, please be with us in everything we do today. We need you now. We pray for others and ourselves, especially for:

  • People with troubled minds.
  • People who feel they have no way out.
  • People harmed by unjust policies.
  • People caught in snowstorms.
  • People who work for peace.
  • Those persecuted because of their faith.
  • Governmental leaders and decision-makers.
  • People victimized by bigotry and ignorance.
  • People who are afraid.

We lay our burdens on your altar.  Please hear our prayers and answer. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen
