Daily Prayer

Compassionate God, we are so grateful that you adopted us into your spiritual family. We touch and agree as we lift up our brokenness to you and rely on your love to heal and sustain us. We pray especially for:

  • People trying to regain their footing
  • People who are spiritually hungry
  • Children who have been mistreated and abused
  • People who are unable to forgive
  • Veterans returning from combat
  • Victims of gun violence
  • Elders struggling to make ends meet
  • People who have lost their way
  • Children who are homeless and confused
  • People who need more joy
  • Those who are overworked and underpaid
  • People who are overwhelmed
  • Those who constantly mistreated
  • All churches open in your name

In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. For he knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust.

God of Truth, protect us from evil. We pray especially for:

  • People mourning the loss of loved ones
  • Those who have been cast aside by society
  • People with chronic illness
  • People seeking inner peace
  • First responders and care providers
  • Stewards of the environment
  • People who are in hospice care, hospitals, and nursing homes
  • People in prison
  • Hostages taken during political strife
  • People who are involved in wars of ideology
  • People living in all kinds of war zones
  • Victims of senseless acts of violence
  • Children who have lost their way
  • Victims of man-made disasters
  • Victims of natural disasters
  • People who are barely holding onto hope
  • Pastors and other clergy

Have mercy on your people. Have mercy on your world. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Holy God, thank you for reigning in our lives. We touch and agree as we lift up our brokenness to you and rely on your love to heal and sustain us. We pray especially for:

  • People who need physical healing
  • Those who need spiritual renewal
  • People barely hanging onto hope
  • Children who are helpless in any way
  • People who are weary
  • People who are in nursing homes, hospitals, and hospice
  • People whose thoughts are troubled
  • People searching for meaning in their lives
  • People who are persecuted because of their faith
  • Children who are lost and alone
  • Children who desire to change their circumstances
  • Prayer warriors and spiritual leaders

We lay our burdens on your altar. Have mercy on your people. Have mercy on your world. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen
