Daily Prayer

Lord of Hosts, we call on you to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. Help us to know your truth. This day, we pray for others and ourselves; in particular we pray for:

  • Government leaders and politicians
  • Mothers who have lost children
  • Grandchildren and great-grandchildren
  • Families around the world
  • People with chronic illness
  • Traumatized children and their families
  • Children who have been orphaned
  • People responsible for developing the minds of our children
  • People responsible for nurturing the spiritual needs of our children
  • Children experimenting with things they don’t understand
  • Children who feel lost and alone

We know you to be a God who answers prayer, and we stand on your promises today. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen
